Cristian Budianu received the B.S. degree in 1999 from Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, University "POLITEHNICA" of Bucharest, Romania. Since August, 1999 he has been a Ph.D. student at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. He completed all the requirements for the Ph.D. degree in June 2004; his degree was conferred in Aug. 2004. His research interests include signal processing, communications, and applied probability. His current research focuses on analysis of non-parametric estimators and their application to wireless sensor networks. His advisor was Prof. Lang Tong.
