This workshop aims to stimulate an exchange between the academic community that focuses on fundamental theoretical aspects of sensor networks and the broader DoD R&D community that has in depth knowledge of current and future applications of sensor networks. The objective is to identify pressing research problems in military applications and areas of academic research that may have direct impact in future DoD systems. Invited participants include researchers from academic institutions, DoD and commercial industries and program managers from government agencies.
